About macOS Mojave :
macOS 10.14 Mojave, the latest version of Apple’s proprietary operating system, which is generally recognized as the best software platform for desktops and laptops, will surprise owners of compatible devices with an expanded range of functionality and a focus on automating many everyday processes.
Dark theme in macOS Mojave
macOS Mojave became the first version of Apple’s desktop OS to support a dark theme. The mode darkens the interface colors so that working with your Mac is as comfortable as possible, regardless of the time of day or ambient lighting conditions. Dimming is available for the desktop and built-in Mac apps.
Stacks
A function with the unusual name “Stacks” allows you to automate putting things in order on your desktop. It is able to independently group files depending on their extension, creation date or other features, corresponding to your personal ideas about the order.
Finder
When creating macOS Mojave, Apple did a fair amount of work on the Finder, expanding its functionality. The Finder now offers a Gallery View mode with the ability to preview file thumbnails, as well as their metadata, for the most convenient management and interaction with them. In addition, you can now make adjustments to media files from the Finder by cropping and rotating them, and you can password protect documents without having to open them at full size.
News, Stocks, Voice Recorder and Home apps
These four apps were previously exclusively available only on iPhone, but with the release of macOS Mojave they came to Mac. With their help, users will be able to find out the latest news, monitor stock prices, control smart home devices, and comfortably take voice notes and even record entire lectures.
Group calls on FaceTime
The FaceTime group calling feature, which appeared in early beta builds of iOS 12 and macOS Mojave and allowed video conferences with up to 32 participants, turned out to be more difficult to implement than Cupertino thought. This is probably why Apple delayed the release of the innovation, promising to fix all the problems later this fall.
New Mac App Store
With macOS Mojave, Apple completely redesigned the Mac App Store, unifying its design with the iOS App Store. The Mac App Store is now even more user-friendly, informative, and useful with additional software tabs and editorial content. By downloading applications from the App Store, you can still be sure that you will not run into a virus or Trojan.
Prevent tracking in Safari
As in iOS 12, Safari for macOS has received additional features to prevent users from being tracked while surfing the web. The improved Intelligent Tracking Prevention feature now limits tracking of your activities even when sharing, liking content, and leaving comments on websites and social networks.
Availability
Along with the features described above, macOS Mojave has expanded the capabilities of Continuity mode. Mac users can now quickly access photos, screenshots, and document scans taken on an iPhone or iPad so they can edit them instantly and share them via email or any other means.
